  • Ascend The Crest's quarterly Spotify promotion of $100 is determined by selecting the track with the highest saves to listeners ratio on Spotify. For example, track A received 70 listeners and 20 saves (20 saves ÷ 70 listeners = 29%), and track B received 115 listeners and 20 saves (20 saves ÷ 115 listeners = 17%); track A has the higher conversion rate, therefor receives the Spotify promotion.

  • To diversify promotions, the same track cannot be selected two quarters in a row.

  • In the event of a tie, the track with the  highest popularity position in Spotify (uses multiple metrics) breaks the tie.

  • To avoid a low quality, high ratio scenario i.e. 2 listeners 1 save (50% conversion on saves), there is a 25 listeners threshold. * This requirement is on hold until listeners ramp up.

  • Promotions begin in January, April, July, and October. Data is sampled for the last 28 days on the first day of every month.

Note: Blue Quail Sound will match 100% of artist contributions towards promoting any Ascend The Crest tracks, on any platform.

Summary

July marks the end of the second quarter. We are starting to see a robust catalog of great music on Ascend The Crest. The next goal is going to be adding at least 1 new track per month on the channel. Thank you all for being a part of the project.

  1. PSYCHO: 11 saves, 13 listeners  = 85% conversion rate.

  2. Conspire: 9 saves, 18 listeners = 50% conversion rate.

  3. Serendipity: 10 saves, 24 listeners = 42% conversion rate.
